Today, September 22, The National Statistics Committee held a solemn event dedicated to the Day of the state language.
Speaking in honor of the Day of the State Language, the Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Akylbek Sultanov noted the special importance of the Kyrgyz language, which has a centuries-old history, culture and traditions of the great Kyrgyz.
At the event there were competitions among teams of departments for the best performance of Kyrgyz songs, dances devoted to the state language. Also there were contests for the best wall newspaper and the best preparation of national dishes.
In addition, the work of departments on translating office work into the state language was evaluated. Winners of the competitions were awarded valuable gifts.
Officially, the State Language Day in the Kyrgyz Republic is celebrated on September 23 every year.
