The National Statistical Committee considered the issues of implementation of the quality management system in practice

The National Statistical Committee held seminars on measures to implement the Roadmap for the implementation of the Quality Management System of Official Statistics of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2024 and the first half of 2025 within the framework of the World Bank project "Modernization of tax Administration and statistical system".

The issues of the importance of applying the concept of the modern model of statistical production processes (GSPBM) in the practical activities and conditions of the statistical system are considered.

The new model will provide conditions for the standardization of production processes of the National Statistical Committee based on the reuse of data, methods and processes for the development of questionnaires, methodology, data collection, IT services, editing and dissemination of data.

During the seminar, focus group discussions were held among the staff of the National Statistical Committee on self-assessment based on the UN Guidelines on National Basic Principles for Quality Assurance of Official Statistics (NQAF).

The seminar was attended by international expert Remy Prual, heads and employees of the central office of the National Statistical Committee.
